Roadrunner was formed to provide a media
distribution service for club promoters looking to distribute
their flyers to London's urban clubbing community.
Where once a promoter would wait outside various clubs
across London waiting to distribute their flyers, late night
revellers would often be met by a number of others also handing
out single flyers.
This was not an ideal situation
for either promoter not clubber for 3 significant reasons:
- Too many venues meant that promoters would have to cover
a number of locations often with clashing closing times.
- Clubbers leaving a club did not necessarily appreciate
being met by groups of people handing out flyers.
- In cold and wet weather, the activity would be severely
hampered either resulting in a 'no show of distributors
or soggy flyers.
Roadrunner street distribution team distributes
by placing a number of flyers in a waterproof bag and not
only targeting clubbers leaving venues but also local targeting
of cars of clubbers who would often park locally to the venue.
This simple but unique approach gives Roadrunner the credibility
for reliable flyer distribution, taking out the time and effort
of distribution for promoters, whilst providing clubbers with
a more targeted and reliable way of receiving DRY flyers.
